Earth’s Ally Weed & Grass Killer is a non-selective, ready-to-use herbicide. Powered by sea salt, it quickly kills common weeds to the root and offers a safer alternative to harsh chemicals when used as directed. Earth’s Ally kills common weeds, including broadleaf, crabgrass, dandelion, clover, ivy, chickweed and many more. When used as directed, Earth’s Ally delivers visible results in 3 hours and has been proven to kill weeds to the root, so you won’t end up treating the same weed repeatedly.
Directions for Use

For best results, use Earth’s Ally on a dry, sunny day. Shake the bottle to thoroughly mix the ingredients and saturate the weeds you want to eliminate using the stream setting, not mist. Apply generously to both the leaves and base of the weed so the sea salt makes its way to the root. Do not use during rainfall or when weeds are wet. Avoid overspray on desirable plants.
This weed killer is bio-friendly and safe to use around people and pets. You don’t want to get this stuff sprayed in your face or let it’s mist blow back on you because it does contain vinegar and salt and will burn your eyes, nose and skin other wise it’s safe. It does an ok job on some weeds in fact they did wilt in a couple of hours. Others, not so much. It took some of the weeds a couple of days but it did indeed kill them.
This Weed and Grass Killer got its first test by me early this week — first in a couple grasses growing into the sidewalk and then in killing grass that was creeping into the gravel driveway.
I first sprayed these weeds in the evening. The driveway was dry, and the sidewalk grass was wet. By the next day, I saw no progress in either location.
I then followed the recommendation of spraying in the mid-afternoon, when no rain was expected.
The pictures show the result. Major improvement, but not quite as good as I would have expected. I had SATURATED these weeds, and still had some not killed.
Thus the FOUR rating — works well, but not excellent.
I have a brick walkway which has sedge grass growing in between the bricks. I have tried pulling it up by the roots and spraying with round up (don’t like to use). It just keeps coming back. Yesterday afternoon I sprayed it with the Earths Alley weed and grass killer and this morning it appears to have done the job. It’s dying so this actually works. I can now finish the other spots between the bricks.
REALLY like using all natural and not worrying what may be absorbed by my body. This product uses sea salt, vinegar & detergent. The spray bottle makes it very handy to grab & use as soon as you see a weed pop out. The bottle can easily be set for a wide or narrow. I think to get the results in 4 hours you need a very hot sunny day. I found it to work well overnight during our warm but overcast days.
Weed Killer Powered by Sea Salt by Earth’s Ally. I like that it is natural so it doesn’t contain harsh chemicals which damage me or the environment. The downside is that this product is not as strong as Roundup. It took 2 applications over a couple of days to deal with some crabgrass in the cracks of my driveway. It seemed to work better against less invasive weeds. I would recommend this product if you are environmentally conscious and have some patience.
